Pianist Michel Camilo and guitarist Tomatito add an entirely new dimension to the word virtuosity. With their wide southern heart and unique mix of jazz, Caribbean music, and flamenco, everyone is sure to feel the heat of this duo.

The roots of this musical symbiosis of many styles and two distinctive personalities go deep, reaching back to the 1980s, when Camilo and Tomatito first met, albeit only back stages of festivals at the time. Their historic meeting onstage occurred twenty years ago in Barcelona, where they gave a terrific rendition of Corea’s “Spain” and Velázquez’s classic “Bésame Mucho”. It was this moment that sparked the fire in their musical friendship, built on the pillars of spontaneity, absolute instrumental accomplishment, and the ability to transcend genres. Their newest album Spain Forever won a Latin Grammy for the Best Instrumental Album and continues to confirm that this duo ages like the finest Bordeaux there is.
